Countdown to my little baby: 17 days!!
One of my favorite things about new little babies is the way they smell.? You know, that newborn baby smell.? I just love the lotions and the potions they have for babies and they way it makes them smell.? Bath time is going to be so much fun and smell so yummy!
One thing that is VERY important?besides the smells?is safety!!? It is extremely important to bathe your baby correctly to prevent anything happening to them.? The first thing to do is get a baby bath tub.? Parents.com recommends choosing one ?that has a contoured design or an internal sling that prevents your baby from sliding.?? Let me introduce you to a great baby bath tub that is safe and affordable.
The First Years Sure Comfort Deluxe Newborn-to-Toddler Tub provides ?all the security, comfort and convenience parents and growing babies need in a tub.?? It fits single or double sinks to make bathing easier on mom and dad.
The lining of this little tub is mildew resistant.? This helps the tub last longer despite being used time and time again for years.
In the first picture you will see there is a little sling.? Use this while baby is tiny for added safety.? Then when they get bigger, baby has a backrest for support while they play and splash in the water.
Another safety tip for safe bathing is checking the water temperature.? Parents.com suggests dipping your elbow in first.? The water should be warm but not to hot.? While The First Years is helping you get the right temperature too.? ?When the water is too hot for baby?s sensitive skin, the drain plug changes colors to alert parents.?? They have thought of everything!
?
One of my favorite parts of this baby tub is the price!? Man!? Babies are expensive.? People told me that before but honestly I had no idea how expensive they were until I got pregnant.? Betweeen doctors bills, furniture, diapers, formula, and preparing for baby it really is like buying a new car!? This tub is $19.99!? That is a great price not only for expecting parents but for baby shower attendees.? Just add some washcloths, a hooded towel, and some baby body wash and you have a rockin? baby shower present!!? It is available in pink or blue.
Also, The First Years Sure Comfort Deluxe Newborn-to-Toddler Tub was voted Best Infant Bathtub 2011 by Babble.com!!? That has got to make you feel good about buying it whether it is for you or a loved one with a little tike on the way.
