Above Rubies is one of my favorite magazines and has encouraged my walk as a mother for many years. I remember stating to a friend one day that I would write an article for Above Rubies and encourage other mothers with my story. She brushed me off with a look that implied my dream was too lofty.
My friend's impression did not bother me because I knew what God wanted me to do.
My current dream is to write a book, but this has been difficult to begin. Main reason:
I'm on the wrong channel. I'm not tuned into God.
I wonder how many times I've missed God speaking because I'm too busy listening to others speak about writing formulas, having your own platform, publishing, design, social media, and the right connections.Why can't you understand what I am saying? It is because you are unable to do so! John 8:43
