RolePlayGateway?

Greetings ,

My name is bottlefish now it seems, although in the past I have gone by other names on this very site. After a long break from roleplaying I am looking to dive right back in and make a fresh start of it with this new account.

What kind of roleplayer am I.
I have been roleplaying for about 5 years and consider myself quite literate, I have my off days like everyone else of course,. Also please note that while talking with you and not roleplaying i have grammar and typos more frequently, this is because unlike my roleplay posts i do not triple check my discussion replies. I average 4-5 paragraphs , 4-6 sentences each post, This can of course go down considerably ( maybe 1 or 2 paragraphs ) during character interaction given the circumstances but i will try to average as much as I can without getting to the point I am forcing it. I also average one post every day or two days. I don't mind a few typos here and there but please try your best with every post and I will do the same. I am looking to roleplay via thread or PM right now.

What am I looking for.
Recently I have came up with a base world that I would like to give a try roleplaying with a partner in. I have a plot that goes with it and will happily share with anyone who shows interest! Here is what i have of the world so far I am looking to expand and receive ideas from my partner in the hopes we can develop into a world of both our creation. This is just to get us started. The Roleplay itself I am hoping for something in-depth with multiple side characters and story-lines where we can explore other aspects of the world as well as the main character story.

?Before the snow there was peace , well as peaceful as any place could be, The cities were growing with each decade becoming for advanced and powerful. When the snows started and the winter held on much longer then it should very little changed. As it got colder and colder and the cold never seemed to end the elder races, the Raon ( The Long Lived) and Shar'gun (The Stone Men) adapted

The stone men ended up as what they treasured, using great knowledge and lost magics to make them into their namesake. Stone men. Needing no sleep or rest they kept digging , amking the mountains hollow before starting to go down and down into the dark. Sameday no doubt going so deep as to mean their permanent destruction.

The Roan a race already old to the land saw the humans struggle with the cold and in turn assisted them. Going into isolation as things got worse seeing preserving the land more important then the people. Gifting the city of Adele that of a baby Wurmai (Furence Wurm) which now resides in the bellows of the of the centre city temple where the Priestesses watch over it as it helps warm the city. Once the humans were looked after they retreated into the wilds, a large forest that covered part of region now very much reduced in size, and sunk into the land to help preserve it from the cold as best they could.

As the Years went by a vicious and rare spices called the Dun'Gash descended form the mountains. With the features of wolves, and a mix of sabertooth, and mentality of both they made quick work of people who travelled to the city of Adele.

This lead to isolation among the cities which all began to do they best they could at surviving alone. As 50 years came and passed the people began to adapt and the ice scapes grew thicker still. Tribes of barbarians began to appear, No one is sure of their origins, learning how to best the Dun'Gash and going as far as to taming the beast. These men , the Jura , sharpened there teeth like fangs and started to raid the city of adele and really anyone who crossed their path.

The winter continues on and things worsen with it, while same few old remember what it was like before the snow fell, the young only remember the cold and the raw instinct of survival. ?

I hope that I have tickled your interest and look forward ot hearing from you~

With Regards,
Bottlefish
