Tropical Storm Debby Forms In The Gulf of Mexico

The fourth tropical system of the year has formed in the Gulf of Mexico.

Tropical Storm Debby is expected to slowly strengthen over the next few days as it slowly drifts north before it begins to move to the west.

The latest information on Debby is:

Sustained Winds: 50 mph
Pressure: 998 mb
Coordinates: 26.3N - 87.5W
Movement: Stationary

This storm is not expected to make landfall for the next several days.

Late next week it will approach the southern Texas coastline.
